FAMILY CREST PLAQUES: STRAIGHT TALKING! We don't fool around and try to get you to order something that you don't really want. These plaques are either hand-painted using enamel paint by our artist who has decades of experience OR they can be printed plaques using our fantastic new printing process. The table below will give you an idea of the various differences.
These are HAND-PAINTED and as such every one is an original. If you want a machine or computer drawn reproduction of a coat of arms then you are better off ordering one of the printed plaques shown further down this page. | These plaques are printed using our special printing process. A thin metal sheet with the family crest is printed onto the surface. Some of our printed plaques are printed directly onto the wooden surface. These are very durable and give a high-sheen finish. They can be used outdoors but their wooden backing will benefit from an occasional coat of varnish (available from most DIY stores) if you notice any wear and tear. |
